Research by Exeter Greens has revealed how an Exeter City Council policy has led to developers being let off paying nearly £1 million for local services. The City Council allows developers of student housing to only pay half of what other developers pay in the form of a local tax known as Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). St Davids ward councillor Diana Moore, lead the research and is now calling on the City Council to change their policy so all developers pay towards improving local services.
