Hard working and down to earth
I run a small IT business, so I understand the difficulties many small businesses and their employees currently face. I’m a carer and have seen the obstacles disabled people deal with in their daily lives. I also serve as a Union Branch Officer for Unite.
I am passionate about bringing positive change to our city and the neighbourhoods that make up Exwick and St. Thomas. I lived in Exwick for many years and am now just a short walk away. I’ve heard on the doorstep how many people are being let down at both local and national levels.
Together we can make a greener, fairer neighbourhood for you
If elected, I will push the council to get the basics right. This means:
– Proper public engagement
– Fair and timely decisions for those needing adult social care
– Working better with parents and carers to help improve SEND services
– Making sure pavements are clean, clear and safe
– Fixing potholes and ensuring road crossings are in the right place
– Ensuring that drains are cleared to prevent flooding
The Green Party does not tell its councillors how to vote, so I will be free to stand up for our area.
Green Party support in Exeter is growing: Stronger local voices
In just five years, Greens have gone from one City Councillor, to seven. Meanwhile, support for the Tories has collapsed and Labour is failing to deliver positive change either locally or nationally. The Greens were second across Exeter in the last local elections: it’s between the Green Party and Labour here.
For a local councillor who will stand up for your neighbourhood and work hard for you, please vote for me on Thursday the 1st of May.
