Diana Moore
Diana has become a popular and hard working councillor for St David’s ward. She was elected with a massive majority in 2019. Diana is a familiar face in St David’s, meeting residents to listen to their views and working with them to take action. Diana is Co-leader of the official opposition Progressive Group on Exeter City Council: Greens working cooperatively the Liberal Democrat councillors.

I was proud to be elected for St David’s in 2022, I have already served at Exeter’s first Green Deputy Lord Mayor. I sit on the Customer Focus Scrutiny Committee, the Harbour Board and ECQT. I also work part time at the University of Exeter, write for Reconnect magazine, and run an Acappella group in Exeter called Tess & the d’Urbervilles.

I have represented St David’s ward since May 2024. I serve on the planning, licensing, and RAMM oversight committees. With a background in mental health, I prioritize wellbeing and sustainability in my decisions, always striving to create positive change, and keeping the climate crisis front and centre. I’m passionate about supporting Exeter’s arts and culture and collaborating across the political spectrum.
Carol Bennett
Heavitree
I am Carol, one of two Exeter City Councillors for the Heavitree ward. I was elected in 2022 in a by-election, and in 2023 I was re-elected for a further 4 years. I sit on the Planning Committee and am a member of the Planning Members working group. I also sit on the Licensing Committee and am a member of the Taxi Working Group, and Chair the Licensing Act Working Group. I am Deputy leader of the Green Councillor Group

I represent the ward of Heavitree on Exeter City Council. I am Vice-Chair of the Customer Focus Scrutiny Committee and sit on the Strategic Scrutiny Committee. As an ex-Headteacher, my professional career has focused on creating communities in which everyone can flourish and feel valued. I love nature and want to do all I can to protect our beautiful planet.

Having been elected in May 2023, I represent the Newtown St Leonard’s ward with Cllr Lynn Wetenhall. I sit on the Planning Committee and the Audit and Governance Committee on the Council.

I was elected in May 2024 and am one of two Green Councillors for this ward, working with Cllr Andy Ketchin. I sit on the Exeter Highways and Transport Orders Committee. I am keen to get feedback from residents on any neighbourhood issues, and I work with my Green Councillor colleagues on city-wide issues too.
