“Why the UK is Greener In the EU”

Green Leader Natalie Bennett to visit Exeter

Green Party Leader, Natalie Bennett will be visiting Exeter next Tuesday, 15th March, ahead of the City Council elections in May.

As part of her visit she will speaking at the University, her talk “Why the UK is Greener In the EU and why Greens believe another Europe is possible,” will make the case for the UK to remain in and reform the EU. Ms Bennett will also state how important it is for young people to register to vote now, so that they don’t lose out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to shape the future of their country. Following Ms Bennett’s talk there will be time for discussion, questions and answers.

Diana Moore, City Council candidate in St David’s ward said, “It’ll be good to hear Natalie as she’s straight talking. All are welcome regardless of political views, especially if you haven’t yet made up your mind on how you’ll be voting in June’s referendum and want to hear a fresh perspective.”

The event will take place at the Peter Chalk Centre Tuesday, March 15th. Booking is recommended.

The event is hosted by Exeter Green Party Society, Exeter Green Party and we are pleased to be joined by Exeter University Students for Europe.
